Mission Statement
The Philippines Baseball Group unofficially started on December 21, 2021. Our first camp was held at Los Angeles Valley College with the help of Cris Gopez, the founder of FilAmNation, we had just under 50 participants that day and in less than two years we have grown to more than 200 players.
Since then we have competed in numerous tournaments all over the country as well as Canada. A few of our players, Isabella and Reggie Fong and Kyle Soberano, have competed internationally representing Team Philippines in the Southeast Asian Games, The Baseball Federation Cup and the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.
Our mission is to recognize, develop and promote Filipino-American and Filipino players both here in the United States and Internationally. In the future, we hope that our relationship with the Philippines Amateur Baseball Association and its leadership, Chito Loyzaga, Pepe Munoz, Boy Tingzon and Oscar Marcelino will help us establish state-of-the-facilities all over the Philippines to aid in our quest to become one the top nations in international baseball.
